Why you need to experience the Bundaberg Rum Distillery

Travel News
on May 22, 2019 at 5:00 pm Bundaberg Rum has been deeply embedded in the Queensland (and Australian) cultural DNA since 1888. Even if you aren’t a rum drinker, you know what it is. But the distillery – and the rich amber liquid it produces – has come a long way since its original iteration. So far, in fact, that one of Bundaberg Rum’s 10 variants was crowned the ‘World’s Best Rum’ at the 2017 global World Rum Awards. Sure, it may seem unexpected that the world’s best rum calls an unassuming regional Queensland town home, but there’s more than meets the eye when it comes to Bundaberg’s charms. 3 Major Ways Artificial Intelligence Will Disrupt the Travel Industry – Skift

Travel News
Artificial intelligence has massive potential to disrupt the travel industry — but not necessarily in the ways you might expect, said Alan Lewis and Dan McKone of L.E.K. Consulting. “It’d be a mistake to think that AI is just going to do what you currently do in a more efficient fashion,” said McKone, “It can empower new forms of competition.”And while that’s true across industries, “we see tectonic shifts happening in travel in particular,” said McKone. The pair, both of whom are managing directors at L.E.K. Consulting, conducted dozens of industry interviews as well as a rigorous market analysis to synthesize three major trend lines to watch in the coming months. The biggest change is best thought of as The Goldilocks Opportunity, Lewis said. “Often new technology and innovation impact
